Emma Watson expressed her deep regret about not being able to attend the premiere of Colonia at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). 

The film, in which she stars alongside Daniel Brühl, explores the harrowing true story of a woman trapped in a cult in the 1970s. 

Watson, who was unable to make the event due to prior commitments, shared her excitement about the film and her dedication to the role. 

She emphasized how important Colonia was to her, as it delves into complex themes of human rights and personal sacrifice.

While she couldn’t be there in person, Watson was visibly supportive of the project and expressed her gratitude to the TIFF audience for their enthusiasm.
